Hi! I’m Andrea.

I’m in my last semester here at UVic studying art history and I’m taking this course simply because it fulfills one of my requirements. 🙂 However, I am interested in the use of media and the arts in different contexts.

What is your preferred mode of remote communication?

• Zoom calls and group chat messaging.

What are your communication strengths? 

• I am very adaptable to group needs, I can lead groups… sometimes and I think I’m good at getting the ball rolling for discussions. 

What are your communication weaknesses? Where would you like to grow? 

• Sometimes I find it hard to express grievances, I’m not very good at confronting conflict. 

Do you consider yourself an introvert or an extrovert? 

• Introvert.

What time zone are you in? 

• PDT (Victoria time)

What time of day do you prefer to do academic work? 

• In the afternoon or at night.

When you are upset do you tend to share this with others or keep it to yourself? 

• If it’s minor I’ll keep it to myself.

What do you like about group work? 

• I like when the roles of the group are clearly divided and everyone does their part. I also like the creative inspiration that can come from working in a group. 

What don’t you like about group work? 

• When people don’t do their part of the work and it’s just hard to communicate to a large group of people and get organized. And it’s hard to please everyone as well.
